“Trail Art” is an award-winning initiative by the Town of Rolesville Parks and Recreation Department that combines the arts with the natural beauty of our greenways and trails.

In 2024, my “Whimsical Mushroom & Friends” was chosen as the Trail Art art pieces. I created 100 one-of-a-kind colorful polymer clay mushroom, each with its own little friend sitting on top, to be placed along the greenways and trails.

This was my biggest project to date and pushed my creativity to new areas. It was after completing this commission that I started creating small figures as part of my regular collection.
